Artistes Burlesques

John Bickerton created the film Artistes Burlesques as an homage to the surrealist films of the American artist Joseph Cornell.  Artistes Burlesques combines found footage, public domain footage, and stock footage to create an otherworldly, dreamlike theater featuring a montage of circus performers, exotic dancers, and ballerinas.

Quiet Journey

This video uses the song Quiet Journey to create a reflective, dreamlike, mysterious impression.  Quiet Journey is a solo piano recording from John Bickerton’s 2020 album, Heartland. It is a soft meditative piece.  There is an introspective quality to the music.
